The Solar Grant Delaware Program is only available to customers who receive an electric bill from Delaware Electric Cooperative.  The Solar System must be owned by the electric customer and installed and maintained within the customer’s coop electric service territory.

Array Orientation: Between 80º and 280°

Array Tilt: Between 0° to 90°

Array Shading: Total Solar Resource Fraction 70 percent or above

The system must be installed by a program-approved contractor. DNREC’s Division of Climate, Coastal and Energy maintains the list below of contractors that can install Solar Photovoltaic Systems. Contractors approved by DNREC are also approved for the Solar Grant Delaware Program.
